| Buster Beans (Mr. and Mrs. Beans) by Robert Dickey (0230-) - Buster Beans was the delightful dog strip creation of Robert Dickey in the 1920-30s. Buster and his friend, Cinder were a heart-warming delight for dog lovers and they got into mostly harmless mischief. The strip began as a filler in the Magazine sections of many newspapers and graduated into the regular comics section in the 30’s. As a result, many early versions of the strip were Black and White. There is an absolute ravenous following for Buster Beans in any size or color. This is one of those ‘insider’ titles, collectors in-the-know grab these immediately when they’re at reasonable prices. | ||||
